I really like Ronnie Brewer, but I cringe every time he touches the ball
and isn't directly under the hoop or out on a fast break.

If you
think about it, we could really use a 4th person that can score at will in
our starting lineup behind the obvious people in Okur, Boozer, and
Williams. I think Mathews will have a solid future with this team.. that
being said, when Korver and Miles come back... what happens to Mathews?
Then again, what happens to Brewer if he comes off the bench? Brewer is not
a true two-guard, and besides his defensive presence he doesn't really
bring what we need coming off the bench, which is scoring.

I
think we'll end up sticking it out with Brewer through the end of the
season. I also think that Mathews will fade into the darkness that is the
end of the bench once Miles and Korver come back. I may be wrong, I can't
see the future.
Statistics : Posted by Ghetto-AK47 • on Tue Nov 10, 2009 12:05 am

go on under the basket so it creates that open shot just inside the arch

I guess everyone has to do what they think is right. You do pay a lot of
money for the tickets to the game and as fans we do have the right to
expect more than we have had been given this year. But you know what, I
tried to boo the Jazz to let them know I was unhappy and I just couldn't do
it. I can boo if there is a really terrible call but I just couldn't boo my
Jazz. I too think there is some underlying unhappiness within the ranks
and I don't have a clue what it is, but the Jazz are just not the Jazz.
They are not like the Jazz of other years when they lost a game. There is
something knawing at all of them (you can see it in DWill) and I am pretty
unhappy with them but I just can't boo them. During the season they take
up a major part of my life, a lot like my family, and I wouldn't boo my
family if they were bad. To each his own but I will save my booing energy
for the refs and the Lakers. <img

I am a die hard Jazz fan. I love them. Always have. I love them so much
that I can't enjoy Jazz games because to me its not a game. I can't enjoy
the game until its over and we have the win. So far this season I have seen
3 losses. Every one of them we gave up in the 4th quarter. Against the
Rockets the other day the ESA boo'ed our home team. My opinion is it is ok
to boo them. If they lost thats one thing. But it honestly appears to me
that I care more about winning than they do. I see players not willing to
work on defense, I see players playing one on one offense, I see players
complaining to the refs and making excuses. If I'm paying to see my beloved
Jazz and they give up on me. I'll let them know how I feel about it.
Statistics : Posted by thecharismaking • on Wed Nov 04, 2009 9:07 am

I have been a Jazz fan for about 22 years now. My father loved football
and often went to Las Vegas and the like to card bet on his favorite teams.
(Usually not successful). The only time he had any success on betting was
when he asked me, who was 10 at the time, who would win the super bowl. Now
in the mind of a 10year old the only football team that would win is the
Chicago Bears. I figured the Bears were a big scary animal. So my dad
placed a bet for them , for me, and to his surprise they won. I was the
only 10 year old kid I knew who had 100 dollars! Much to my father’s
dismay, I thought Basketball made more sense. At least the game wasn’t
stopped all the time by silly flags or guys who belched like the kids at
school. Then he was proved wrong again, when the first pro-team we could
get behind wasn’t a football team, but a basketball one.

My one

When Carlos Boozer went down with yet another skeptical injury last
season, Paul Millsap seized the opportunity to prove what kind of player he
is and the kind of player that he could become. He was like a fat kid in a
candy store, a hunter walking into Cabellas, or me walking around through
Fanzz. His eyes lit up as his first opportunity to be the starting power
forward for an NBA team finally arrived. What did he do in these 38 games
as a starter?

He averaged 16 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.
He had the longest double-double streak in the NBA last season with 19
straight. People often refer to Boozer as a double-double machine, but I've
never seen him get 19 straight. Millsap was locked and loaded every time he
stepped onto the court. He came out firing so people would know what he was
made of. He's a man of steel and won't back down from any challenge that's
thrown at him, which was shown back in November of 2008 when he completely
rejected a dunk by Shaq.

The fun eventually ...
Statistics : Posted by D-Will4MVP • on Fri Sep 04, 2009 7:57 pm

other than maybe Chauncey. I think this will be his biggest year
statistically ever. I've posted that the Jazz coach is a waste of product.
I was shocked when many here agreed with me. Stockton was the best PG in
history follwed by Magic and Cousey. Karl Malone is the best PF ever unless
you consider Duncan a PF. I dont. I suggested the Jazz trade Boozer mid
last season (before he may have left anyway) to get a real impact front
man. Restructure AK47's contract and send Okur packing and try to retool
the team to play with D-Wills many strengths if a Chip was to be possible.

"fail", and cant back up anything. When they do type it comes with the

insist on posting your pro laker, bandwagoned dribble, all over this site
how bout you actually say something, and back it up like the jazz fans can!
Statistics : Posted by jazz_fan1 • on Thu Aug 20, 2009 3:07 am

Noodlz, I dont know you at all but I think you might be a genius. Awesome
write up there on Kobe. In addition, something that stats dont show, and
that is how often he goes to the line on bull-lony (M.J. reference) calls
from the ref. And you see why he is one of the leagues scoring leaders. I
think that even Todd Fuller (anyone even remember him haha) could of been a
league leader if he got the same calls Kobe gets. Who even knew that you
could commit a foul just by being on the same side of the court. And
finally who the heck is this die hard laker fan anyway and why is hovering
around jazzbots?

Oh and AK needs more minutes but doesnt need to
start. Korver could tho, that would be alright by me!
Statistics : Posted by jazz_fan1 • on Thu Aug 20, 2009 2:41 am

Interesting way to look at it. I especially like your thoughts on the fact
that without the fans there would be no games, no salaries, and no whiners
who think they deserve more than they really do.

As a side note
for you though. You might be interested to know that money (at least
american bills) dont come entirely from trees. They have large portions of
cotton, linen, and even silk in them. Which actually comes from a worm.
Kinda puts a deeper spin on your already complicated analogy.
Statistics : Posted by jazz_fan1 • on Thu Aug 20, 2009 2:28 am
