Wow! I am ashamed of those of you who a agree with this post. I say KEEP Sloan til Sloan chooses to go. He is the best thing that has ever happened to this team second to only Larry Miller. He is a genious and we owe him thanks for all the success and fun times for all the years. He is old fashioned but he is not a failure and anyone who says he is needs to have a retraining in basketball 101. And if I might add, these are usually the same people who think that Phil Jackson deserve coach of the year every season for sitting on the bench watching high paid players bring him championships. To no credit of his own. What we need is some players who care as much as sloan and we will be bringing home rings every year!

I don't disagree...I think his system and his coaching style is fine, and I respect that. But he fails to realize that there are opportune times to try things that aren't in his "master gameplan". Too many times have I seen games slip away because of poor coaching.

Spin it however you want. Make whatever excuses you wish. Blame this person or that person. Blah blah blah.

Throughout all those years and all those great players there is no ring to show for it and the only common link between them all is Sloan.

Sloan is used. He doesnt relate to the players. He gives them no reason to want to listen because hes never won jack. Fire him if your serious about wanting to succeed.

and all the players that ever played for the Lakers magically knew how to run the triangle offense right?...Phil Jackson has 9 rings to show for his work, so i do think that he's onto something. As far as Sloan is concerned, he is a great coach but i think the Jazz could use a change at the Head coaching job.
