COMMENTS about DEFENSE!!

the recent games make it compulsory for me to comment the DEFENCE!!
the fact is you have got to know how to defend PICK n ROLL!! TRY to get over the big man instead of changing defender and LEAVE SPACE for defencing PG, it seems that one gets a pick and speeds up will always spoil JAZZ's D... so keep some space in case the PG speeds up. This is what Deron should learn. Try to watch the video of recent losses over and over again, there is little time left!! and always keep an eye on REBOUNDS!!

also some comments about offence, the off-ball pick is quite awesome, but it seems that the on-ball pick has some problem then. To the big guys, Go STRAIGHT FORWARD when picking with Deron, keep your mind on the pick!!!

All i can say is-and don't laugh-how about Jaron Collins in the win over Golden State yesterday? Boozer and Memo should be taking notes on Jaron and Matt Harpring's ability to clog the paint and box out, and dare I say-put a hand up in your man's face??? I thought the lineup with Harpring, Collins and Millsap on the floor together looked GREAT on the defensive side-well, great compared to what we've been seeing from our 'star' big men lately.

I don't think I've ever seen Okur defend a pick-n-roll correctly. Just watch the game closely and see how many times the other team does pick-n-rolls with whoever Okur is guarding at the time. I can't remember what game it was last season, but I do remember counting no less than 8 straight pick-n-roll plays on Okur, all of which he failed to guard correctly. Absolutely pathetic.
