A certain relative of mine knows that anytime he finds himself in an awkward social situation, or feels a political storm developing at a family party, he can ask this question and magically the room is transformed. This query will stop even the best debater in their tracks. The focus of the entire group switches as fast as Andrei Kirilenko can swat down a shot (or ask for a trade). It works every time. Try it.

The topic of all things Jazz is alluring to most folks. And why wouldn’t it be? “Can you believe that game last night?” “Harpring is such a hard nosed player.” “What’s going on with Memo’s hair?

Now, I know the effectiveness of this trick, yet it works on me every time. I have a business to run, articles to write, dogs to walk, a house to clean, pounds to lose….Hay have you seen the new guy, Kyrylo? Have they checked his birth certificate?, because I think he might be fifteen.

Ahem, this brings me to the point. How bout them Jazz everyone? We’re here to talk about all things Jazz and Jazz related. Send your questions and ideas and let’s talk about them.
