Jazz Inspired Haikus
Posted by Jackie Corbridge on September 30, 2007
A wonderful form of poetry associated with the Asian Culture is called Haiku. We have been studying a little about the art of writing Haikus and found it to be a PERFECT place for us to express a few thoughts. We hope that you enjoy reading our Haikus that we would like to dedicate to Jazzbots readers everywhere!
The Game
Running to the hoop
Crowd cheering wildly
Slam dunk! A winning score!
The Bear
Crazy, dangerous stunts
Entertaining young and old
Amazing mammal.
Carlos Boozer
Captain of his team
Triumphantly scoring points
Exciting to watch!
Jazz Dancers
Grooving to the beat
moves that make me jump and jive
One day I will dance!
And finally,
Blogging
Exciting new world
Twisting our thoughts together
Sharing our opinions.

Great job on the Haikus! Those are fun to read and right on the nose. Another good job on your blog this week. Keep them up!
