If anyone was to write a book on what to do or not do at a basketball game this is what they may find:1. Do have some sort of knowledge of the game of basketball. You can’t watch a basketball game and at least know a little of what is going on.
2. Do have patience. Be patient with the game. It takes time.
3. Do have Compassion. The players have guts. Some are out there playing hurt others are sick have a little compassion if they miss a shot they’re only human.
4. Do know who is playing. Knowing the team or at least a player on the team might help.
5. Do have a voice. Be able to cheer for the team. How much fun is it to go to a game with thousands of cheering people and your sitting in your seat quite.
6. Do enjoy the game. Don’t go to the game just because, go because you enjoy the game.
7. Don’t get offended. People yell and scream and some even curse. Don’t get offended they’re not yelling at you. Many get caught up in the heat of the moment.
8. Don’t yell at the refs (it doesn’t help)
9. Don’t sit in the middle of Jazz fans and cheer for Lakers. (Not good)
10. Don’t tell the person in front of you to sit down. (You may end up down for the rest of the game)
11. Don’t yell defense when we have the ball. (I did that once lol)
12. Do go and have a good time. Support your team and remember it’s only a game no one is perfect so don’t expect perfection.
The Jazz has one of the biggest fan support systems of any team and the reason for this is because they go loving the game and loving the team. You just gotta love em!!!

Tammy…Great list. You are suppose to go to games to have fun. If someone is upsetting you, a lot of humor can do a lot to solve the problem. If everyone at the game had the same personality what a bore it would be. I love our Jazz and wish I was there in person to watch them. I got to go to 2 playoff games and it was terrific last year. I can yell and get excited at home pretty well. GO JAZZ
