Silent Soldier
…And our game will be the game of the unheard. Our faces will give identity to the faceless. Each pass will be a ball thrown to the masses. Every victory a battle won for the lower classes. Those with callused hands and seen as living “backwards”. My people who keep low-profiles and don’t worry about crassness.
Yes we play with fire.
Hope is birthed from the smoldering rumble of basketball empires. Dashing the dreams of large market teams; breaking down the over-paid, bloated and obscene. A triangle offense can’t do much against the burning barrier of desire. With all the “bling” and 81 point machines, why don’t you understand that money won’t buy a ring?
This isn’t subliminal.
New York, L.A., start taking notes: Winning isn’t a popularity contest, or about casting votes. You have to work; kneel down and put your hands in the dirt. Here in the Rockies, we understand and assert: humility, team chemistry and dinner is always before dessert… And our game will be the game of the unheard.
