Of Things to Come…

‘The future is veeery bright’
‘The future is veeery bright’

With no more games left in the pre-season it is time to take a look forward to the regular season starting next week. At this time of year every Jazz fan is prognostication mode. So here are my Jazz related predictions of things we will see over the next few months:

Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer will make the All-Star team as coaches’ picks.

Fess will spend more time in Orem than he will in Salt Lake City.

Hot Rod Hundley will create at least 3 player nicknames that will drive fans crazy.

Ronnie Brewer will easily replace the 10 points per game provided last year by D-Fish.

Jason Hart and Ronnie Price will struggle as backup point guards all season long, leaving Jazz fans to complain about not re-signing Dee Brown.

The Jazz will pull off a trade before the February trading deadline, but it will not involve AK-47.

Jazz will win 55 games and the Northwest Division.

What do you predict?

    I think Jason Hart and Ronnie Price are under appreciated. I would rather see them play than Dee Brown any day. While D. Brown may have been a fan favorite, he just couldn’t hit an outside shot, and turned the ball over countless times, thus limiting his playing time.

    Nice picture….

    I predict that Boozer, AK, and Harpring will miss a total of 50 games combined due to injury.

    @Jim

    Statistically speaking Price and Hart shoot and turn the ball over just about as much as Dee Brown.

    Maybe they are so under appreciated due to the huge drop off in production/ability seen when D-Will goes to the bench.

    Let’s keep our fingers crossed that no more than 5 games are missed by Boozer.

    Anyone who believes Dee Brown can’t shoot should check out his production in the Turkish league. We need his maturity so we can give Deron a rest every once in awhile. Hart can’t do it and Price has not played many minutes so we can’t tell much on him. I say we will miss Dee Brown and as for him turning the ball over, when he did so it was while trying to make plays and he is a play maker now for Turkey - check it out.
