Finishing: Part I
Coming into camp, one of the biggest questions surrounding the team was who would start at shooting guard. One of the biggest contributing factors to Ronnie Brewer winning the starting role, was his ability to finish.

Ronnie Brewer took advantage of his ability to drive to the basket. But getting there was only half the battle. Once there he finished. Making over 60% of his shots. Of the 10 players that logged a minimum of 15 minutes a game – Brewer led the way capitalizing on 60.5% of his shot attempts. He also shot 87.1% from the free throw line.
Now that his ability to finish around the basket has earned him a role opposite Deron Williams in the starting backcourt, finishing is now the new question.
Will he finish close games on the floor or on the bench?
Will he finish the season starting or is the role of starter only temporarily his?
After all, getting there is just half the battle. You have to finish.
