We think that it’s going to be a great year!

Sixth graders have a lot on their minds this time of the year. For example, there are the baseball team playoffs, practices for Christmas performances and last minute efforts to bring up their grades. In spite of all this mind boggling, important kid stuff, there is another subject on their minds; how are the Jazz going to perform this season. Instead of making predictions, my class wanted to express some of their best wishes and offer their wisdom to the team.
“I am so excited for the new season to start,” writes Allie. “I am going to cheer for all of you and this is going to be a great year!”
Ryan wrote, “I would like to see the Jazz come out of the locker room and practice defense more than offense. If you guys play your defense, then you will be unstoppable.”
Hailey would like to tell the team that they “should try their hardest and do their best. If they don’t win, then practice more because perfect practice makes perfect.”
“It doesn’t matter if you win or lose, your fans are still rooting for you,” are wishes from Logan.
Abi wants to tell the team members that “they are the best NBA team players ever. Have a great season.”
From all of us, true fans that we are, we send our best wishes for a great year.
