Media Overload: Part II – Jazz on the Radio
Posted by Johnathan Kendrick on November 11, 2007
This season Jazz games can be heard locally on 1320 KFAN on the AM dial, and B98.7 on the FM dial. “Hot” Rod Hundley returns to do the play by play. After the post game show on 1320 KFAN, the game will be rebroadcast.
Jazz games will be broadcast in the Las Vegas area this year on ESPN 920 AM. The Jazz also have affiliates in Boise and Pocatello.
Besides being the official radio home of the Utah Jazz, 1320 KFAN is also the home of the Fab Five at 5PM. Hosted by David Locke, The Fab Five at 5PM covers just about every aspect of the team. Monday – Friday at Five O’clock a member of the organization joins Locke to talk about Jazz basketball.
Here’s the Fab Five at 5PM schedule:
Monday: Senior Vice President of Basketball Operations Kevin O’Conner
Tuesday: Alternating Member of the Coaching Staff
Wednesday: Starting Point Guard Deron Williams (he usually brings another player as a guest)
Thursday: Team Owner Larry H. Miller
Friday: One of the radio or television Broadcasters
