I received an email about my comments telling me that they were not acceptable, that I ran down the coach of the jazz and the owner. I do not feel bad about my opinion, but will try to put it in terms that the screener of the comments will accept.
When I attend a Jazz game there are rules to be followed such as, no foul language is acceptable from a fan at games, or being abusive to players, other fans and so on.
My problem with this is if the fans have those rules, why doesn’t the coach, staff and players?
It is impossible to watch jerry sloan on camera without his (in my humble but hopefully acceptable way) foul mouth, being read by every fan and I’m sure by the owner larry miller. If a word does not begin with an F, or MF, or CS, or SOB then our hearlded coach sloan can’t say anything. I think it is disgraceful the way he uses his chosen words in front of millions of people but I cannot express in not at all abusive or vulgar words how much I detest sloan and his action s, and how he downgrades, and demeans players with every breath he uses for talking. I was told if I couldn’t make statements with out degrading the coach or the owner of the jazz, to find another blog. Well I guess that is good advice, but I would like to hear if any other jazz fans are fed up with sloan and his antics, and unprofessional actions. He is not a great coach in my eyes,(and ears) I feel he should be replaced and give a new dog a chance, the old dog has become worn out and single minded. I would like to see the currant team referred to the great now playing not retired team and allow, J. Stockton, and Mr. Malone to live their retirement with their love of the game and their memories. Let, AK be AK, let D. Williams, be himself, the same for Boozer and all the other players. One or two people are not a team, Singles and doubles is for tennis, five players on the court are a team. If only two are allowed to play, and receive all the attention, why would other players want to be there? When the jazz played some team ball a short time back, all scored all contributed and it was a great game. Please Mr. Miller consider the feelings of all the players, think of them as players and people, not as dollar signs, and please mr miller find the great team you have a great coach and let Mr. J. Sloan enjoy retirement, at least from the Jazz. New players deserve new chances, don’t saddle them with performing as old players did! I don’t remember any rings won by past players as great as they were, mr sloan has had oppoutunities and players to get the job done, but failed. Please give this new awsome team a chance. Give them a new coach with some fresh blood running through is veins, new ideas in his head, and a respect and desire to allow all of his players to succeed!!
Thank you very much for the blog time I hope it is acceptable.

As I watch games with my g/f as she is teaching me more and more about the game and I’m enjoying learning. But it’s seems that one constant in almost every NBA game played, there appears to be a former Jazz man on the other team. Usually they are not too dang bad either. Sometimes I pine over a trade, (Raja), yet at the same time I’m beginning to realize that Jerry Ball requires an almost perfect mix of talent.
What it really tells me is that Jerry Sloan is one of the finest teachers of the game in the nation! His influence covers the entire league. We are lucky and very proud to have him as our coach.
