Dr. Jekyll?
Posted by J R Stewart on December 22, 2007
No! Mr. Hyde!
Did you “cheer up”? Did things get worse?
No, we got a little Christmas gift from the Jazz.
The amiable Dr. Jekyll turned into a monster…and just in time.
You knew it all along, didn’t you?
So, what happened?
A rare practice, to work on offense against the zone, defense against pick and roll and the penetration/kick/3 pointer helped. A day between games, and the Wrath of Khan rerun (The drama with Gira and JSlo, for you Hollywood fans) to stir the Jazz up, didn’t hurt.
Whatever!
They turned it around and released Mr. Hyde, aka Paul Millsap, from his cage, to devour the Magic. I like it when Paul turns green, his eyes glow and he splits his jersey with his expanding muscles. Kinda’ scary, huh!
The Amazing Andrei performed the magic trick of the night, changing frequent long distance clunkers into 3 pointers.
The team and The Grinch, who stole Gira’s Christmas, were in a much better mood, not to mention all the Jazz fans, who were released from their straight jackets and padded cells, to resume normal life in a halfway house, while they detox.
Ahhhh, now where is that fat man with all the presents?
I sure hope the fat man doesn’t turn out to be squatting in paint in Miami and be the Grinch who stole the Jazz’ Christmas.
Go Jazz!!!
