Kaa-Ching! Kaa-Ching! Kaa-Ching!
I shouldn’t repeat the same topic twice, but if you’re reading this, it passed the censor.
‘Money’ was not just great against the Magic, he was fantastic. He carried the Jazz. It was truly beyond an All-Star performance. 29 points on 67% (10/15) from the field, 80% (4/5) from 3 point land and 83% (5/6) from the line was spectacular. Great efficiency. His defense was solid, against possibly the best center in the league, with 8 boards, 2 blocked shots and an assist. He led the Jazz with a +10 while on the floor.
This is too much to expect night in and night out, but enjoy it when it comes around, and hope it persists through the playoffs.
MEMO: Keep it up!
On another old topic…
Who’s Hot?
AK returned continued to blister the nets. He’s gone from everyone wincing, when he gets the ball (in fear that he might shoot and hurt someone) to “put it up AK!” This former All-Star is putting up All-Star numbers again (actually better offensively, than when he was an All-Star). 8 assists, 16 points, 86% (6/7) from the field and 100% (4/4) from the line, with only 2 turn overs, was close to perfection. He played solid defense on Turkoglu, got 7 boards, a couple of steals and sold 25 boxes of popcorn. The Jazz was a +8 while he was on the floor. 16 points and 8 assists? Most teams would drool to get that out of their point guard, let alone a forward.
Clearly the Hawks were not their sharpest, coming off loss in Denver and playing a back to back. However, it was still nice to sweep the series.
The favorable schedule continues. The Jazz need to continue to capitalize on any breaks they get and step it up on the road.

Maybe you meant the Magic? That is, unless the NBA is making the Hawks play this game again too: http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=271217001.
Great Game,
Seemed like the Hawks didn’t even bother to show up!
Ya know like they substituted the entire for some other guys from the south eh?
You’re right!
It was 1:30 AM when I wrote the blog and I’m probably getting senile too.
It was the Magic. Sorry!

Wouldn’t you know they would get things going when I was far enough out of town to not get any TV coverage. I was in Phoenix when they played them and the paper there gave the Jazz a lot of credit. I think I have my personal feelings as to why things may be turning around but it is just my opinion and not one to be cussed and discussed. The main thing is that they continue to play like the Jazz can play and continue to get better. If they don’t win tonight, I am going to get a complex and feel like I better stay out of town each night they play!! I daid in a blog a few weeks ago that I thought we would see some great things start to happen from some players and maybe for once I am right. I am going nuts waiting for 7:00 tonight. GO JAZZ
