My Picks for the All Star Starters

As the All Star break approaches, I thought that I would like to share my picks for the starting line-ups for both the West and the East. Now these are based on the idea that I am the only one that gets to vote. It is my own ” fantasy” All Star Team.

In the West, Point Guard: Steve Nash, Shooting Guard: Tracy McGrady, Power Forward: Tim Duncan, Shooting Forward: Carmelo Anthony and at Center: Yao Ming

In the East, Point Guard: Vince Carter, shooting Guard: Dwayne Wade, Power Forward: Lebron James, Shooting Forward: Kevin Garnett and at Center: Shaquille O’Neal.

I think this would make for great match-ups and a fun game to watch. The West starters would beat the East because I think that the West’s players would be able to work together better than the East’s players.

It isn’t always the best single players that win games but the chemistry of the team that is playing.

It may be the wrong attitude but I haven’t been voting for any of our Jazz players to even make it!!!!!!!! As those of you who have read my blogs before, I hate the way the game is played in the middle of the year. It isn’t really a “game”, it is a show off time and a good time to get a player hurt. I have said over and over,”why don’t they play it at the end of the season like the NFL?? I also wonder if anyone else noticed or not that Ocur seemed to start having his problems after he went to the All Star game. It would be fun to have one of the stat fanatics to see if they can prove me wrong or validate what I have been thinking for a year.

    This is a opp’s article,

You said… “In the West, Point Guard: Steve Nash, Shooting Guard: Tracy McGrady, Power Forward: Tim Duncan, Shooting Forward: Carmelo Anthony and at Center: Yao Ming”

How it really is….Point Guard: Steve Nash (wont argue that), Shooting Guard: Tracy “Ball hog, dont like my teamates (Yao Ming your starting center) McGrady, Power Forward: Tim (most boring player will only get the ball two times) Duncan, SMALL Forward: Carmelo (ball hog/ injured now) Anthony, and at Center: Yao (will be benched after 6 minutes because of lack of conditioning) Ming”

FYI Vince Carter a shooting Guard wont run Point, D-Wad will, Lebron will play SMALL forward so he can step out and KG will play Power. and Shaq wont start over Dwight Howard, heck I doubt Shaq will play with all with his hip.
