Are the Jazz back?

My wife has been telling me for some time now that I should contribute to the Jazzbots Mueller Family blog. Since I live with four females, I usually never get a word in. I’m not sure what to do with myself when I get a chance to throw in my input. So, here goes . . .
Over the past few months, the play of the Jazz team has been less than ideal. The performance and play of individual team members and the overall standards of the team have left me feeling less enthusiastic about watching professional basketball.
Since the Jazz traded Giricek, I have seen tremendous turn around in the enthusiasm and individual play of many members of this team. Although we are not there yet, especially defensively, we have made significant progress over the past two road games. The team has seemed to be more at ease and are playing TOGETHER as a team. The wins against Houston and San Antonio, finally showed a beginning of a team that has playoff potential.
Once again, it is fun to sit down with my daughters and watch the greatest sport ever made. The Jazz have taken us through many highs and lows. But I believe, through these trials, we can teach our youth the concepts and fundamentals of basketball. It is great once again to see the Jazz returning as a premier and classy team that you are willing to take your family to.
We are lucky to have a team that has the talent to fight through the highs and lows and continue to be a great asset to our community. Go Jazz!
