Who’s your All-Star?

Yesterday, Jackie Corbridge’s class wrote about their favorite shots, including the hammer dunk. I think that during the Jazz vs. Hornets game, Deron Williams developed a new favorite shot for Jackie’s class and the rest of us! Not only was D-Will trying to “make a statement” regarding the All-Star snub; but the rest of the team as well. I’m wondering, with Memo coming back around to being the “Money Man,” what name can we bestow upon Kyle Korver and his crazy 3 point shooting? How about Kyle the “Kash Man” Korver?
On a recent visit to the practice facility at the Zions Bank Basketball Center, I was privileged along with some of my fellow bloggers to take a tour. I’ll have more details in my next post, but I just wanted to mention in this one, that Kevin O’ Connor is a class act. He did a really nice thing while we were there; something that wasn’t necessary, just nice. Like I said, more on that in the next post, along with some inside dish about some kookie Jazz related stories!
Who would have thought, during the December doldrums, that the Utah Jazz would have the longest winning streak in the league right now? The next two road games should be a good gauge as to whether the Jazz are ready to roll. The Nuggets and Kings have been playing well as of late, especially the Kings at home. We still haven’t come up with some outstanding nicknames for the rest of the team, but; we know we’ll need the Money and Kash Men to keep up the streak of hot shooting from behind the arc. In fact, let’s plan on some more 3 point record shooting from the Jazz against the Nuggets on Wednesday night!
Oh, and lest we forget, congratulations to fellow blogger Morris Almond, and Kyrylo Fesenko for being chosen as D-League All-Stars!

Deron Williams should have went!
At least he is in the NBA All-star Skills game…
ALONG with Chirs Paul though.
