A few days ago we posted a blog from Morris Almond. If you didn’t know, Mo has been asked by the NBA to regularly contribute to the blog on NBA.com. It goes without saying that Mo is an incredible basketball player and is ripping it up in the D-League. Let me assure you his writing/blogging skills are just as tight. His exploits just as entertaining.

As you might have noticed from his last blog that we posted, he is in the middle of a battle of words with another D-League blogger, Rod Benson. Rod blogs for Yahoo Sports and TooMuchRodBenson.com. Rob is a hard worker – I will give him that. He blogs 3 times a week. For him, some weeks that’s more blogs then made baskets.

Rod has thrown out a challenge to Mo. He wants people to leave comments on the blog to prove he has more support. He even told everyone what to say.

We are not trying to say that Rod is an inadequate blogger or anything – sometimes he has some good stuff, but just like his game – you never know what you are going to get one day to the next.

We of course are backing our guy – Mo Almond. If you want to help, log on to NBA.com and Yahoo Sports and show Mo a little love. Of course what you say is completely up to you.

So when I read the title of your blog I thought that this was going to be a write up on how good of ball player he is. The last thing we fellow Jazz fans should be worrying about is how many people are reading Mo-Al’s blog. I say let Rod Benson recieve more views and let Mo play in the NBA like we drafted him to do. We obviously need a shooter up here since we were 3-16 from deep tonight. Send Hart to the D-League and send Mo up to the show. If Hart doesn’t want to go than release him, he isn’t doing anything anyways. C-BIZKIT5 OUT!

I want to congratulate Almond on his well written blogs. They are informative and interesting to read. He definitely comes across as a well educated young man. I look forward to the day when he will play full time with the Jazz. In the mean time he is doing an awesome job in the D league. Good luck! Thanks for doing a good job with your rookie blog.

I agree that Almond is both a great player and a great blogger. While he is working so hard to play well and is having a little side side competition with a fellow player, I will be happy to help out. Lets make the game fun all the way around.
