Kirilenko To Miss Next Game - Probably More
Andrei Kirilenko will miss another game Friday when the Jazz visit the Phoenix Suns. Kirilenko is still bothered by a strained hip suffered in the first quarter of the Jazz vs Mavericks game on Monday night. Kirilenko is listed as day to day but will not be traveling with the team to Phoenix. At this point it’s hard to expect that Kirilenko will be ready to play Saturday at home against Denver.
Kirilenko and the Jazz now have the difficult task of balancing his return against the competitive playoff race in the Western Conference. Bring him back too early and he could be ineffective and strain the hip further. Keep him out too long and risk a losing streak that could put you on the outside of the playoff picture looking in. At this point a 3 game slide could knock the Jazz all the way out. 5 of the next 6 games are on the road. 4 of the next 6 games are against playoff teams.

Call up Mo-Al! My prediction is if they do, he will light it up and never go back to the D-League. Let the young fella play! C-BIZKIT5 OUT!
You would be right. If they call up Mo - He won’t go back. No matter what he does. He has been assigned to the d-league the max amount he can for this year. For that reason I don’t think you will see him called up.
i just hope that the Jazz’s FIBA player of the year comes back… one game suspension was too little a sentencing against Dirk….
