My Take: Jazz Over Bucks

FINAL SCORE — JAZZ 114 BUCKS 110
It is a win. At the end of the year it will go in the correct category.
The Jazz trailed 103-92 and outscored the Bucks 22-7 down the stretch
Jazz scored on 12 straight possessions to end the game. They had no wiggle room.
At the beginning of that stretch the Jazz didn’t have a field goal in the quarter.
The Jazz lived at the line taking 20 free throws in the 4th quarter, making 17 of the 20.
Bucks missed 10 free throws in 29 attempts and they are rueing the misses.
Jazz were able to hold Michael Redd down — The Bucks went to Redd on 5 occasions in the final 3 minutes and the Jazz stuffed him on 4 of those. AK had a nice block. On one of his drives the Jazz bigs helped fantastically.
The Jazz defense late was really intense. Deron was all over the ball
The Jazz were miserable to open the quarter — they left 9 straight possessions open on the the offensive end and were on the wrong side of a 12-0 run.
8:30 4th Quarter — Bucks 96 Jazz 89
This is hard to believe
Bucks have hit three straight three’s to go a 9-0 run — Charlie Bell and Royal Ivey — Are you kidding
Jazz have turned it over on three straight possessions. Milsap tried to go one on one and got stripped, Deron threw a pass into the fifth row and Harpring was lazy with a pass to Deron on the top.
End of 3rd Quarter — Jazz 85 Bucks 84
Jazz are calling plays but they are never getting into the second or third option on the offensive end.
I don’t know if my expectations are too much but I would like more on the defensive glass and some of the post defense is really really poor.
AK was the savior of the quarter. He hit three big shots that kept the Jazz in the lead.
I anticiapte that we will win this game by about 7 with a solid 4th quarter with the Bucks having played last night as well but it has been too difficult for what should happen.
Jazz have only been to the line 10 times and that will be the key to the 4th quarter. They better go to the line at least 10 times in the quarter.
Halftime — Jazz 63 Bucks 62
A very dejected Jazz team heads to the Locker-room
The Jazz just allowed the 36 points to the Bucks in the second quarter.
Deron has 17 points and 10 assists
The focus on defense is non-existent.
Michael Redd is just driving to the basket time and time again.
5:33 2nd Quarter — Jazz 49 Bucks 43
This is a little disturbing.
The game has slowed down and the Jazz have lost some of the energy.
Transition defense is still an issue
Charlie Villaneuva has 19 points and is another post player giving the Jazz a tough time.
Bogut was awful in 3 minutes
End of 1st Quarter — Jazz 40 Bucks 26
Great first quarter. Jazz are executing the offense.
The Bucks miss the energy of Desmond Mason.
Deron has been nailing the mid range jumper
Boozer started well
Highlight of the quarter was two alley-opp dunks to Brewer.
6:00 1st Quarter — Jazz 21 Bucks 9
Great start for the Jazz, but remember last night they lead 18-10
Jazz hit 10 of first 12 shots.
Deron has 5 assists
Keys to the Game
1. Win
Important Numbers for Jazz v. Bucks
Bucks are the worst defensive team in the NBA
They are also only #20 offensively.
Bucks are without Mo Williams, Yi and Desmond Mason

I have a question, comment? First I have to state that I don’t like to criticize coaches because they know what goes on in practice such as who is working harder than someone else and so forth. My comment is on Korver. Even as dumb as I might be my math says that a 3 on one end and a 2 on the other doesn’t add up to a win. Thank heaven Ocur is getting back to his 3 point and playing defense. Kirlinko’s 3 is pretty but usually needs 1 or 2 seconds to set up. I thought O’Conner brought Korver in as a shooter. I believe that he can hit them and hit them well if a play is set up for him to get and release immediatly. I see him in the corner alone wanting the ball to do exactly that but it seems like he is ignored. He’s put in, given the ball to set up and shoot and he misses because that is not his shot so he is benched. Anyone else notice this or am I just crazy? What do you think Jazzoholic? I appreciate your opinions.
