On our recent visit to the Energy Solutions Arena we were told that there are a few places in the arena that can be rented for wedding receptions! I was shocked and astounded! I never thought about the possibility that the Arena could be used as a reception center too!

I sat back and thought about how it would be to have my wedding reception there! I am sure that they do not rent it out on a game night, but wouldn’t that be great entertainment for the guests that stayed for the entire reception! In fact I bet that all the guests would stay for the whole time!

Would I have to use their color schemes? The room was mostly decorated in gray and black so my colors of pink, purple and yellow with green would go okay with the decor. The flowers would have to be delivered because I don’t think that the arena has a flower shop.

My last concern would be what food would they serve? What would they cook for the refreshment, hot dogs, nachos? We were told that The Energy solutions Arena on a game night serves more food than most Salt Lake Resteraunts serve in a year! I would just want it to be the food that I wanted! What about the cake decorating?

I am glad that I am only 10 and have a long time to plan and SAVE!!
