And the Jazzdrama continues . . .

Regretably my last blog was about . . . of all things, COMFORT.  That was, of course before we went down three players due to injury/illness.  I don’t blame the players for that.  They are human too.  We passed the head cold/flu around my house and it was so bad that we weren’t even WATCHING  basketball for a week . . . during March . . . that means we were all definitely down and out.    The worst part is that even when you are ‘back to work’ you still aren’t ‘back to human’ for quite awhile after that.

When you take into account that the Jazz lost to Minnesota.  When you analyze our remaining schedule and look at Denver, just two and half games back, well, the panic starts to set in!  My husband and I were contemplating the final eight games we began to get quite UNcomfortable.  We play San Antonio TWICE, Dallas, Denver, Houston, New Orleans . . . oh, and Minnesota again (this game should definitely have a revenge factor).

With two players recovering from the flu and one injured, the winds of discouragement start to set in.  Truly, you could compare the Western Conference with a strategically written soap opera.  Phoenix gets Shaq.  Nowitzki out for Dallas.  Yao Ming out for Houston.  Come on, you couldn’t write this kind of drama.  I guess in the big picture, the Jazz challenges seem pretty minor.  We will be back.  Healthy and stronger than ever . . . I hope.  I will go on record to say . . . again . . . glad we’re in the West.  Anything can happen.  Nothing is set in stone.  It’s all part of the fun . . . as long as the Jazz come out ahead.

Here’s hoping the Jazzdrama is coming to an end and Jazzdominion is about to begin.

Couldn’t agree more. When my husband (when coaching high school) would have a very important game I would begin getting hives because I was so into what he was doing. Haven’t had hives in years and years and guess what?? Yup, the Jazz are managing to bring them back. They get beat by a not so hot team and then turn around and beat an Eastern team that was something like # 4 or # 5. Go figure!!!!! The soap operas couldn’t even begin to compare to what the Jazz has going! Of course, the reason for the great professional play last night was because I got to be there in person which is rare. Guess I should be given a free pass in the lower section to assure success.
