FINAL SCORE — JAZZ 129 Wizards 87
Record breaking night for the Jazz.
Jazz set a franchise record with 15 three’s.
42 point win is the largest margin of the season
The energy by the Jazz was just fantastic
Ronnie Price and CJ Miles stepped up.  Miles had 29 points.  Price had a solid 10 point, 4 rebound and 4 assist game.
Worth nothing that Price played both 1 and 2 tonight
Korver went 6 for 6.
The Jazz were in control and played focus the entire night.  40 assists on 50 field goals.

5:58 4th Quarter — Jazz 119 Wizards 76
MORRIS ALMOND CONNECTS ON A THREE FROM THE LEFT SIDE FOR A FRANCHISE RECORD 15TH THREE POINT FIELD GOAL IN A GAME.

End of 3rd Quarter — Jazz 105 Wizards 66
They are throttling the Wizards.  it is going to be an Almond night
Jazz have 12 three’s – by the way the NBA record is 21 in a game.
Miles has 23 equally his career high from back in 06th on the final day of the season
Deron has 16 assists and Boozer is 9 of 13.  They killed the Wiz on the pick and roll.  When the Wiz finally brought a third player over the Jazz found they guy the Wiz left for a lay-up dammed if you do and dammed if you don’t.
Jazz franchise record is 14 three’s in a game.  Let’s see if they get it.

Halftime — Jazz 73 Wizards 41
Jazz set a franchise record for three’s in a half with 9.  Three times this year they had 8 but this is high for a half in franchise record.  CJ is 3 for 3.  Memo and Deron each have two.
The Jazz won the quarter 42-19.
The Wizards are without a point guard with Arenas and Daniels out and they are really a ruderless ship.
Jazz are shooting 66%
Jazz got whatever they wanted out of the pick and roll early in the game and it opened everything up.
Deron has 13 assists his career high is 21
Ronnie Price is flipping between the 1 and the 2 tonight with Brewer out.

End of the 1st Quarter — Jazz 31 Wizards 22
Solid quarter by the Jazz.  Good energy to bounce back
Price brought nice effort.
The pick and roll was dominate. Boozer was getting great looks.    Boozer finished with 14 in the quarter on 7 of 8.
Jazz shot 65%.
Mason is a gunner and Price got caught napping a few times.

Three years ago when he first stepped on the court my thoughts were .. he has his work cut out for him. Drafted out of a little high school in Texas, going up against some pretty aggressive players and being positioned on a team where the FANS show no mercy for anyone that does not match up to the previous years “”GREAT PLAYERS in the NBA “”…….. I began my following and became a fan by yelling… “”GIVE CJ THE BALL”". Every one around me would turn look and say he isn’t even on the court, my reply “” he should be and they should give him the ball every time he is open”". That year I received my first CJ Jersey ( a birthday gift from a friend) I have faithfully and with great dedication worn that jersey to almost every home game, during a night where I was chose as Team CO-Captain by US Bank…… I was honored that CJ signed the shirt, now I had to purchase a second shirt as I was not going to wear the signed jersey, it has been framed. To make a long 3 years a short story……… I have always known CJ Miles could score when given the ball consistently and would grow with this team and earn the respect of all the fans that had such doubt in his being drafted right out of high school. He proved what he can do with or without the cheers and ignoring the boo’s and comments last night CJ Miles is worthy of minutes given on the court. I am a true, loyal fan of the Utah Jazz and proud to say … The Biggest fan of CJ Miles…….. Good on ya CJ — and keep going after your dreams the NBA is big enough for more than a handful of Great players and you are in my eyes an MVP when it comes to this game.

Wow. Obsessive. CJ is good, but anyone in the NBA has the ability to put up 29 points in a game. Jazz are deep, this just goes to show.

I agree that I was a little worried about CJ’s maturity when he came from high school to play with the big boys. He is doing super well but I think if he had played with a college team first he would have been a super super player. It is a huge difference between high school and the NBA and it has taken him 4 years to gain the confidence to battle on defense. He has been lucky to have had the type players that the Jazz are to coach him along. Every once in awhile a little of the imaturity shows through. Another thing he is fortunate to have is a strong “of the old school thinking” coach which has helped shape him and get him ready for the NBA toughness. My grandson has a ball signed by CJ because he read at his school and I would like to steal it. You are lucky to have the things you have.

I have liked CJ since he came to the Jazz team, he was very young, but he brought excitement and desire and I think he has come a long way. As far as being imature I don’t think that shows anymore than it does in other players, for example Ron Brewer at time shows some imaturety but over all for the small amount of playing time CJ is able to get he is great. All the players are. There is so much talent on the Jazz team it looks difficult to get all the players some time they deserve, but I guess it will come as it has with other players..
