Oh Where Oh Where Were the Spurs??

What happened to San Antonio??

Since we have been blogging, many of the students have started watching the Jazz games whenever possible. On Friday we talked about how big of a game the San Antonio vs. Jazz would be. It was big but it sure seemed hyped up for the way the game ended up.

We know that the Jazz are good especially when they play at home. We expected the Spurs to give us more of a game. The first half it was a “game” but once the Jazz took over in the third quarter, the Spurs seemed to throw in the towel. When the fourth quarter began and the starters for San Antonio were pulled, many of us lost interest! Even the NCAA teams seem to give themselves a fighting chance at the end of the game.

We are glad that we didn’t spend the money to go to the game! The tickets are expensive for our budget, and then to go to see the stars play and instead watch them sit it just doesn’t seem like it would have been worth our money!

We are sure that San Antonio will be ready for the Jazz when we play them next week in San Antonio, too bad they weren’t ready when they were here last Friday.

that’s too bad. I am a Jazz season ticket holder and that was an incredible game. the fans were so fierce.

I loved every minute right down to the last second. There was time to have the camera on the faces of the bench and the other team. It would have been really exciting to be there in my opinion but maybe that is because I don’t get to go to many. It was even excting on TV to see such defense!! I’m already having withdrawals as to what I will do when asketball is over! I do get to attend the last home game and we are going to use my mad money for some tickets to the playoffs!

Every San Antonio game is exciting when it’s against the jazz. We have (in a way) formed a rivalry against them because of our loss to them in the playoffs last year. I think this was a foresight to what the jazz will play like in the playoffs this year.
