ooooh, Very Creative!

A few of us were able to go to the games against Houston! What a great atmosphere! EXCEPT…

What ever happened to creativity? There were times during the game when a fan or two would start a chant, some were funny and very creative, but there were a few that really lacked creativity!

We liked T-Mac’s tired. We love M.V.P. and we even enjoyed Over-rated. I guess the one that was the least creative and even downright embarrassing was, “Houston Sucks” Can we be anymore unimaginative???? It sounds like a bunch of young kids with a very LIMITED vocabulary.

Come on!, I know we can be more creative! Let’s use our beautiful English Language and a little imagination and come up with a few family friendly, clever chants!

I had a chant ready to start, but only had a small window to use it, and the timing never worked out. I wanted to start an “Oh and Seven” chant, but wanted to make sure McGrady was on the floor, and that we were way up. By the time things were solid enough to start that, they pulled Mcbaby, and the crowd was already in the “Beat LA” chant. Oh well, will work on a new one for the LA games here at home…

You want what? For us to be more creative with what we chant! This is the playoffs and people get mad and chant so and so sucks when we are getting beat or the refs make a bad call. I would rather cheer louder and harder and be more postive for our team than to boo and give the other team more incentive to play harder. Our fans make such an impact on every game that is played here at home and if we can get the Jazz going and pushing harder for the win the better for us, We are the Jazz when they play at home. And for those that want to chant Lakers suck, Remember they are up 2 games not us!!!!
