All thats left is the crying...... Jazz fans need to man up, instead of blaiming the refs, saying there was alot of bad calls, boo hoo. You guys claim to be a rough team, of course since your rough you commit a ton of fouls. Maybe if you actually learned how to play defense you wouldn't have to foul. Step 1 to winning a championship: You have to want it more than the other team.
Step 2: Show up in big games. Boozer choked under pressure.
Step 3: Defense
Step 4: Get a real coach with a winning mentallity, Phil Jackson is always going to beat a Sloan team, he's proved that several times.
To the Jazz fans: Im sorry that we took your western conference crown away(thats all you want to hang your hat on) but were not satisfied with that. LAKERS are about more than winning the west, we want the trophy.
LAKERS 14 CHAMPIONSHIPS(soon to be 15)- jazz 0
GO LAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boozer's needs to develop a sort of baby jump hook shot more than trying to make layups from 5-10 feet away from the basket posting a taller defender. That was his problem down the stretch when defenders were really playing defense on him. He really does not have a jump shot which sort of hurts him. He is basically good at rebounds and making layups, thats it. Referees in Game 6 were calling the right calls for once in the Jazz arena. The Laker's just out played the Jazz the whole time. The Jazz could not make layups and open shots until the end..

Problemsolver,
Have a little class...We,(Jazz fans) don't need to hear anything from you, (a Lakers fan). Obviously your going to agree with what I said because your team was on the winning end of those decisions. Let the truth be known, your "beloved" Kobe Bryant, your "MVP" will never be in the same class as Jordan, Magic, Russell, Bird and so on. His recieving of the NBA's MVP award was a joke. The award is meant for a player that has the most profound and successful impact on a team...Chris Paul! Kobe's performance this year was the same last year. If anyone on the Lakers should have recieved that award it should have been given to Gasol seeing as how Gasol was the piece to the Lakers puzzle. Lest we forget; the beginning of the 2007 season where the "noble", "honorable", "Most Valuable Player" Kobe Bryant talked mad trash about your esteemed "Purple and Gold." Bryant bad mouthed the managing, coaching and players followed by the "cue de graw" statement admitting that he would like to be traded! Those are some pretty honorable and noble statements. Ofcourse now, Kobe is as happy as can be. So all you Lakers fans,(especially you problemsolver), think about how much love your boy Kobe had for you at the begining of this season when you start chanting "MVP" again. I cringe and dry heave everytime some gomer commentator fawns all over Mr. Bryant and his "incredible" skills. The true MVP got robbed his trophy this year, and I'll be right there cheering Mr. Paul on as he breaks Kobe's ankles and dashes his little pathetic season in a four game sweep!
Whatever the outcome of this season, L.A's fans,(that's you Problemsovler) have proven yet again that they know/care more about their little knipping lap dogs in $5000 dollar hand bags, their hair, their manicures, pedicures, and any other pethetic fad that the rest of the country will sit and laugh at as California rots from the inside out from state bankruptcy, illegal immagration, and the worlds most rediculous laws ever created. So keep talking Problemsolver and when California either spontaneously combusts or sinks into the Pacific, those of us who had to be force fed your two faced, spoiled little brat of a so called ambassador to the NBA, Kobe Bryant, will be chillen sippin a cold one Arizona Bay!

man.. arguing about the refs calls... its impossible that the refs are favoring the lakers thus making the lakers victorious!its obvious that the refs are making the approprite calls for the players violations..some people make up stories (that are lies by the way)to defend what they desire.. just face that fact that lakers is the better team ...

I hate to be in the minority of all you conspiracy theorists who think that every year the refs/NBA have a hidden agenda against the Jazz. You can argue all you want about the Lakers vs. Celtics replay, the small demographic market of Salt Lake City or (the classic), "they hate Mormans" complaint. The fact remains, under Jerry Sloan as coach, the Jazz have been one of the most successful playoffs team in the history of the NBA. I've been a fan since I was a child. Since the days of Thurl Bailey, Mike Brown, and Mark Eaton, have I dreamed of seeing my team go to the Finals and claim the hallowed O'brien trophy. Only once have I been lucky enough to watch the Jazz go to the finals only to be heart broken by the greatest player to ever play the game, Jordan. I can hear it now, "Jordan pushed off of Russell." True, Jordan did push of off Russell but was it the core reason for losing that series? No. And if you really think that this was just one many instances proving that there are hidden agendas at play behind the scenes, then you obviously never played organized atheletics at a high competetive level. Refs are human, refs are old, refs are slow, refs are dumb, and finally refs are not the problem. Instead of blaming the misfortune of the Jazz on the weak aforementioned arguements, we the fans may want to acknowledge one thing. Since '88, the Jazz have had all kinds of incredibly talented atheletes come and go but always falling short when it counted most. So what is it that hasn't changed? Yes people call me what you want but I have to call a spade a spade. Sloan is the Marty Shottenheimer of the NBA. He will be a hall of fame coach and good reason. Is it really unfair to say that he has done just enough to not get fired? All I can say is, Sloan has consistantly produced teams that have pour free throwing stat's and the inability to handle high pressure, clutch situations. A lot of his success can be attributed to his traditional "pick 'n' roll" style of coaching as well as his focus on highly physical playing.
Needless to say, I believe that we have always been beatin by the better teams, and yes, as much as it pains me to say it, the L.A. is the better team.
We as fans need to hold the Jazz coaching accountable and not blame it on conspiracy's that are erounious at best.

had he pulled out of tonights game a bit earlier they may have had a chance. must be very frustrating to drop down the court time after time send it in to boozer and have him flower* it up. I think he is throwing the games.

what is with the moderation of the comments what is this nazi germany?

JT: boozer being booed and fisher being booed are not the same reason. boozer is being booed because people just don't like him and fisher is being booed because he left utah because of what? You tell me why he left utah. And Laker fans don't constantly boo boozer whenever he touches the ball, but you guys boo fisher whenever he has the ball in his hands. And if I did offend you about boozer's daughter then I apologize because it is highly unfortunate that she has sickle-cell anemia.

Blackmamba,

You are an idiot. Boozer's daughter has sickle-cell anemia and he is constantly booed. His daughter was also conceived in-vetro. You want us to stop booing Fisher, then tell him to put on Utah jersey, because every single player that comes in to that arena is going to be booed, no matter who they are.

As Phil Jackson said, Utah loves basketball and we are die hard. By the way, after watching game 5, the only person showing any emotion was Jack Nicholson. The arena was silent. You guys go to games because it's the "scene" We go because we love basketball. If the Jazz can execute at both ends of the floor, then they will win.

If anyone wants to see something funny go to youtube and type in Kobe elbows Sasha..He elbows his own team mate in the face on purpose.

concerning booze, he can't depend on the refs to call every foul when he is on the road and the refs obviously are not going to give him the call, he kept on going up and getting fouled and botching the shot because he believed he was fouled...even though the majority of those were fouls FINISH STRONG ANYWAYS, go for the three point play
SECONDLY, the officiating job was terrible...if it were not for two calls in the fourth quarter that were absolute bull the jazz would have pulled off that game...the first foul that was one of the most ridiculous calls i have ever seen while watching an NBA game was..1. VUJACIC FALLING OVER AS KIRILENKO'S HANDS ARE NO WHERE NEAR HIM AND VUJACIC KICKING THE BALL OUT OF BOUNDS SOMEHOW WAS A FOUL AGAINST KIRILENKO--THIS FOUL PUT THE JAZZ IN THE PENALTY WHEN THEY WERE ONLY DOWN 99-96 WITH HALF OF A QUARTER TO PLAY--IF THE CORRECT CALL HAD BEEN MADE--JAZZ BALL (OFF OF VUJACIC'S FOOT)--WHO KNOWS THE JAZZ COULD'VE CUT THE LEAD TO ONE OR TIED IT. 2. LAMAR ODOMS THREE POINT PLAY--THIS WAS ALMOST AS UPSETTING AS THE VUJACIC CALL--ODOM CLEARLY HAS BOOZER BEAT AND CARLOS BARELY LAYS A FINGER ON HIS BACK AS HE DUNKS IT

VUJACIC FALLING OVER AS KIRILENKO’S HANDS ARE NO WHERE NEAR HIM AND VUJACIC KICKING THE BALL OUT OF BOUNDS SOMEHOW WAS A FOUL AGAINST KIRILENKO–THIS FOUL PUT THE JAZZ IN THE PENALTY WHEN THEY WERE ONLY DOWN 99-96 WITH HALF OF A QUARTER TO PLAY–IF THE CORRECT CALL HAD BEEN MADE–JAZZ BALL (OFF OF VUJACIC’S FOOT)–WHO KNOWS THE JAZZ COULD’VE CUT THE LEAD TO ONE OR TIED IT. 2. LAMAR ODOMS THREE POINT PLAY–THIS WAS ALMOST AS UPSETTING AS THE VUJACIC CALL–ODOM CLEARLY HAS BOOZER BEAT AND CARLOS BARELY LAYS A FINGER ON HIS BACK AS HE DUNKS IT

Go Jazz! I'm a new jazz fan. Started watching them during the 06-07 playoffs against Golden State. I used to hate the Jazz being from Texas but now that I live in SLC I have learned to love them. We have an awesome team. Great bench lineup and of course an incredibly talented Deron Williams. We are only going to get better as time goes on. Derek Fischer is a great player in all but we have shown that we don't need him to make the playoffs. I know all Jazzbots are just dying to see the Jazz go to the Western Finals again. I know we can. And they said that the Jazz would get swept like the Nuggets. Gimme a break!

If I was Boozer's size there would be no problem posting up Gasol. Boozer is quicker and much stronger than Gasol. I can tell you that I can hit an 15-18 foot jumpshot, like he quoted they were like layups to him. As regard to your 43%, how is that good for a person that should be 10 feet from the hoop? Since you assume this is good, I am sure that you will say its good for a power forward to average 4 turnovers a game as well. And I know you can't trade him during the playoffs! BENCH HIM!!!

What is the matter with "C-BIZKIT"? How messed can you be? I would like to see you go out there and post up a 7' Pau Gasol! He's doing better than any other power forward on the Jazz. Plus you can't trade in the middle with the playoffs, and if you have a problem with him yelling, just turn the sound off! It's not too hard. And a piece of info for his shooting... He's avraging 43%! Thats extreamly good for a power forward in the playoffs. So tuffen up and try and live with him for the rest of the playoffs.

Well first I have to say that the officiating for the games have been fair. It may not seem fair for Jazz fans, but think about it this way, Laker fans got it the same way. When the Lakers were at the "best" arena in the NBA, the refs called it in the way for the Jazz, and when the Jazz were at Staples (where apparently they are 0-5 this season) the refs called it in the way for the Lakers. So my point is, the home team has the advantage. Lastly, you guys have to stop booing Derek, I mean none of us can feel what he is going through unless you have been in that kind of situation. So, Jazz fans grow up and realize why Derek left utah. I am a Laker fan and I always will be. If the Lakers won't win in game 6, we will definitely prevail in game 7. Hope you enjoy watching your Jazz for the last time this season.

I honestly think that Boozer shouldn't be starting in this playoff series, instead of drawing the contact in the middle for the three point play, he is too worried about having to pick himself up off the floor.
Boozer will not go up for the rebound unless he is absolutely alone. Harpring, Millsap and on occasion Jarron Collins will contest for a rebound.
Boozer needs to box out in the middle, he is a strong power forward but apparently he likes the view he gets watching Odom go for the dunk like he did all last night.
In game 5 I saw some of the worst officiated games ever, Memo could not get an over the back call even when Pau shoves him across the court. Steve Javie is just as bad as Dick Bovetta.
The Utah Jazz is a young, strong and talented team, I will never stop being a fan so lets hope they can keep winning in Utah and get that much deserved championship that we have been waiting for forever.

Couldn't agree more with the suggested NBA agenda. It is obvious that the NBA wants a Laker-Celtic finals. It really was obvious in game 5. Gasol was over the back at least 5 times in the 2nd half and had an obvious charge on Harpring which was not called. Boozer was molested several times on put backs with no call. However, if you look at Bryant funny, a foul is called. It makes it hard to watch. Despite all of this, the Jazz should have still won the game and really are the better team. They can still win this despite all the "expert analysts" at ESPN.
As far as Boozer goes, I just do not understand why he fades away and settles for jumpers when he is the strongest player on the court. He should average at least 12-14 free throws per game. I really think that Millsap mixes it up much more than Boozer. This team is young and has unbelievable potential. They should make few roster changes in the off season.
