Looking Back at the Playoffs

In our first round of playoffs, we played the Houston Rockets. Coming in at a close round with six games, we finished them off, and soon went to Los Angeles to meet the Lakers. The Lakers are a good team, and with Kobe’s MVP, it made it one step harder. I know the Jazz tried their very best, but even with our home court advantage, the Lakers are a tough team to beat and there was not much to do. We caught up close with Andrei’s three pointers but it was a race against time and the Lakers won.

Looking Forward to Next Year

I know that our season has just finished, but I am already excited for next year! Watching Jazz games is too much fun and they are something to look forward to weekly. And maybe, even some new players being traded makes it that much more exciting! You never know what will happen during the off season, but something new can happen and you just have to wait and see.

What do you think about trading Kirilenko to the Warriors for their 14th pick? Select Donte Green. Get rid of Andrei’s salary, get a player to replace him, the Warriors have been interested in Kirilenko in years past…

That sounds very unlikely… Warriors would be eating close to 20 million a year on a deal like that. Very unlikely.

The Warriors would be the last team I’d send AK to. He would absolutely thrive there and knows our system well enough to tear us up 4 times a year and heaven help us if we meet them in the playoffs. In fact, I’d rather have the warriors get the number one pick overall than AK. If we trade anybody we’ll be smart enough to send them East where they can do minimal damage ( take notes Memphis) and balance out the disparity between the East and Western conferences.

Regarding AK, the Jazz should really look into Josh Howard from Dallas.
The Jazz needs someone who can create his own shot. Howard would also give Utah some “toughness” in terms of attitude.

Josh Howard admitted to smoking pot, there’s no way Larry H. Miller or Sloan will want him. He’s a good play but these things matter a lot to the owner. Gerald Wallace would be a good fit with us, he has a consistent three point shot and great defense.
