Korver To Have Minor Surgery
Kyle Korver is in New York to have a bone spur removed from atop his left foot this evening.
Not a lot is known at this time as to how long he was bothered by the bone spur or, if it had any effect at all on his game this past season. A report on the surgery, and an estimated timeline for recovery will be addressed by the Jazz on Thursday. Jazzbots will provide further updates at that time.
That being said, Korver is still on the schedule to participate in an NBA sponsored basketball camp this summer - “Basketball Without Borders.” Korver will be amongst a group of NBA coaches and players visitng New Delhi July 3rd-6th.

Could be why his shot was off a little off towards the end of the season. He would not be one to use that as an excuse.
There’s no excuse for the way he shot in the post season. Girichuck did better last year than Korver did by a long shot.
Aldeez….Do you believe there is never a reason for a person to do worse than usual because of a medical problem? Are the players to be perfect all the time?
Korver is a good addition. Collins on the other hand can’t shoot, can’t rebound and is good at flopping, which is what he is good at. I hope they will get a big that they can replace him with. Fes is a good choice, but they need someone who can come in without getting into foul trouble. One or two flops and Collins will lose his entire salary which is about what he is worth.
It’s Utah Jazz philosophy that if you put your jersey on your 100% no excuses. If the bone spur affected him that much he should have taken a seat on the bench. We had plenty of people that could of filled in; C.J. Miles can shoot the three, is plenty athletic and has average defense, Ronnie Brewer deserved more minutes, he’s big enough to play the 3, his defense is better than Korver’s, and he’s extremely active, and A.K. could easily play more minutes.
Aldeez…….You do make some good points..Linda Kay
