the astro’s were also one of the worst uni’s of that era.

I thought the Piston’s re-design back in Grant Hill’s day were pretty nasty. I hate Detroit anyway, but I like the classic Piston look… That wierd Horse/basketball logo was awful….
The Fakers White Alternate Uni’s suck too.

Anybody have a guess as to which music they’re going to play when the team takes the floor for intros at the home court? I’ll bet we have the same guess.

I don’t think it is that bad and certainly not feminine!! What are you expecting; skulls and cross bones? As long as the team doesn’t mind them then why should we care what a uniform looks like? Haven’t you been told that it takes a real man to wear pink?? The Jazz have had some colors that I like better than others but I can’t say I hate any uniform. Who cares if they are wearing anything but a jock strap if they play really well. Now that brings up a thought and a vision!! Maybe we should check what color everyone wears under the uniform. Is part of their logo really pink? I think in the picture I get on my screen it looks red. I am also sure that when getting the team put together they had more things to take up time than colors. If the Jazz wore pink and baby blue would that kjeep you from watching them?

i hope they do final countdown and mix it up….
… oh wait, that might be us!

linda, as a man that plays on a kickball team whose shirt color is pink, let me tell you how much that affects my play; not much.
but do i like it? no.
is it easier for other teams to mock us? yes.
a team uni is actually very important IMO - it supports things like mochismo, self confidence, as well as respect from the opposing team.
if the jazz wore pink i would definately be making fun of them all the time as i’m sure the other teams would be as well.
and for the record: skull and crossbones would totally rule.

Jared……To each their own, but I have to repectfully, completely disagree. First of all I can’t imagine an NBA player who would play less than their best because of a uniform. As for being made fun of, I would think that if anything, it would light a fire in the team. Of course, I am only female, but can’t go for skull & bones.

Linda, you certainly did put an image in my mind. You really are missing watching the Jazz aren’t you?

Annie…Yes, yes and yes. The best part of this season is that my son has to be working out of town so his mother had to do the right motherly thing and I bought his share of the season tickets!!!!! I will get to be at 9 home games this year. With the price of gas and driving so far, we won’t to able to eat, but that would be good for me too.

Did anyone else notice that the new Thunder logo looks eerily similar to the NY Liberty logo from the WNBA?

Ha ha, the Nuggets uniform looks like it was made pixel by pixel on a DOS based computer system.
