2012: Oracles and Prophecies

‘Time to Fear the Future?’

There have been prophecies and oracles from around the world that all seem to point to December 21, 2012 as doomsday.

-the ancient Mayan Calendar,
-the medieval predictions of Merlin
-the Book of Revelation
-the Chinese oracle of the I Ching
-”The Web-Bot Project” ( search )
-Deron Williams contract ends 2011-12 Season

Now do you feel that air of gloom? What events could this be foreshadowing? An NBA championship? World peace? An NBA Franchise in Paris, France?!?!

What can be done to avoid such pitfalls as an NBA franchise in France; well maybe it’s too late to avoid that one as the globalization of the NBA has been moving forward like McDonald franchises in third world countries serving Mcdoom to anyone who is attracted to bright and shiny yellow arches of fate and destruction. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not completely blaming McDonalds for globalization problems that could be occurring that year, I’m also blaming the I-Ching, the Mayan Calendar, and the fact that D.Will’s contract could be over following that season.

But in the end I am reminded that religious zealots have been making false predictions for centuries now. Let us not forget that Nostradamus had predicted 3-world wars and we’ve only to date had two… (debatable)…

Anne….I think you just want to go to a game in France! Jared……Now you have made me feel like maybe I don’t want to clean house in December,2012. If all is going to end then I don’t want to spend my last days cleaning house. I will go sit at the practice center and hope to visit with one of the players.
