Why I’m the Number 1 Kid Fan

This is part two of my class’s response to why they consider themselves to be the Number One kid fan.  Easton’s writing was so enthusiastic, that I need to enter it as a seperate post.”Why I am the Utah Jazz ’s biggest kid fan!  I have seven Utah Jazz jerseys including D-Will, Boozer, Brewer, Kirilenko, Okur, Korver and Fisher (who is gone). The year of 06-07, I wore my jerseys straight for two months when they went to the play-offs. In my room I cut out everything in the newspaper and I put the pictures and articles on a wall in my room.”I have met Thurl Bailey and Jeff Hornecek at the Jazz games. I got D-Will to autograph my jersey, as well as get a picture with the team.  I have been on tv (KJZZ) for a lot of one Jazz game.  When the Jazz lost in the play-offs in 06-07, I broke a chair and cried.  I don’t have season tickets, but I will have them in the 09-10 season. I never miss a game, ever!”My favorite picture is D-Will and Korver, whom I consider to be the best shooters on the team. I have been able to come early and watch the players warm up. I have even been to Houston to watch games and wore my Jazz jerseys.  I didn’t even care when people called me rude names.”Every morning I read the highlights in the newspapers. I know the stats for each player. I stay current on who each player shot and what they scored. I have a true-blue shirt that is my most favorite.”I can hardly wait until the end of October for the Jazz to begin a winning season. I am anxious to see D-Will  assist and Boozer work the offense, defense get rebounds and Korver’s amazing three-pointers.”

Dang, sounds like me when I was a kid during the 90’s. Fortunate Kid, hope he stays up on it.

Can I stay next to you at the games?? It sounds like you are doing the things I would like to do. I passed by Thurl Bailey in the concession area of the arena and I really wanted to tackle him so he would have to talk to me. It would have been easy to tackle him because I came up to about his belt. You sound like a super fan. I think there might be better ways to vent your frustration then to break a chair but it is nice to hear that you care what they do. Sometimes when we are really die-hard fans we have to be careful not to do things that might make people want to say rude comments to us. If you truly didn’t deserve them then ignore people who stoop so low as to say rude things. If you might be coming across to others who don’t understand what it is like to be that kind of fan, then maybe you need to save some of the stuff for those who do understand. Anyway. I enjoyed your blog and will be looking forward to more during the year.
