Our All Star Team!

With the first half of the Basketball season over and All-Star Weekend just around the corner, we decided to poll all the fourth graders in our school to see who our Eastern and Western Conference All Stars would be.  Here are our results:

In the East we would have Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett as our forwards with LaBron James as the back up.  Starting guards would be Ray Allen and D. Wade with ex-Jazz man Mo Williams backing them up.  The starting Center would be Ben Wallace.  He would be backed up by either D.Howard and J. O’Neal. 

And now for the Western Conference:

Our All Star team would begin with Carlos Boozer and Andre Kirilenko as Forwards, (although I would put Paul Milsap ahead of Carlos any day!). Tim Duncan as the back up.  In the guard position, fourth graders chose Kobe Bryant and Deron Williams with Steve Nash as the back up guard.  The final player to make up this “dream team” of sorts would be Yao Ming at the center position.  He would be backed up by Memmot Okur (after the last couple of games I wonder if they would feel the same…Where oh where is Memmot Okur?!)
