2008-09 (Sophomore): He was named honorable mention All-America by the Associated Press and a third-team All-American by collegehoops.net…He was a second-team All-BIG EAST Conference selection…Flynn was selected to the National Basketball Coaches Association (NABC) District 5 First Team…He was one of 17 finalists for the Bob Cousy Award, which is presented to the nation’s best point guard (all Divisions)…Flynn, a Wooden Award candidate, was one of 30 student-athletes on the midseason list…He was named to the preseason All-BIG EAST Conference team…Scored 27 points and dished out five assists against Richmond…Flynn was named the MVP of the O’Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic…He scored a game-high 25 points, including 17 in the second 20 minutes, to lead Syracuse back from a 13-point, second-half deficit against Kansas in the CBE Classic Championship game…His three-pointer with six seconds left sent the contest into overtime… Had a double-double with 10 points and 10 assists against Coppin State… Flynn’s first double-digit assist effort of the campaign came against Coppin State…He had 24 points and six assists when Syracuse defeated Cornell…Flynn passed out 10 assists when SU defeated Ruters in the Carrier Dome … Became the 51st member of the SU 1,000-point club after scoring 25 against Georgetown…He had a career-high 13 assists in the win and equaled career marks for free throws made (15) and attempted (16)…He followed up with back-to-back 22-point outings against West Virginia and at Villanova…Flynn netted a career-high 35 points at Providence…Had a season-high 13 assists along with 25 points against Georgetown…Played 67 minutes, scored 34 points and had 11 assists in the six-overtime marathon against Connecticut…Flynn had 22 points versus Oklahoma in the NCAA Tournament… Tied the program standard for season games (38) and season games started (38)…His 254 assists represent the fifth-best single-season total at SU and the second best by a sophomore… He had 36 double-digit scoring games, the third-best total in Orange history.
2007-08 (Freshman): Flynn was named BIG EAST Conference co-Rookie of the Year … He also earned a spot on the BIG EAST All-Rookie Team and was an honorable mention All-BIG EAST selection… Flynn earned all-district honors from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) … He earned third-team freshman All-America recognition and a spot on the BIG EAST All-Freshman Team picked by rivals.com … Flynn earned third team all-freshman honors from collegehoops.net … He finished the campaign with a squad-best 185 assists, the second-highest freshman total in SU history … His 548 points ranks fourth on the Syracuse freshman ledger … He teamed with Donte Greene to give the Orange the first freshman duo to each accumulate 500 points… Flynn and Greene were the second-highest scoring freshman duo in the country, combining to average 33.4 points per outing… Michael Beasley and Jacob Pullen from Kansas State averaged 35.9… Flynn made 56 three-point baskets and equaled the third-best freshman mark at SU … He posted a streak of 313 consecutive minutes played, a stretch that featured seven complete games … Flynn averaged 39.2 minutes per game in regular-season conference games, the fourth-best mark in the Division I ranks … He played the entire game in 11 of the year’s last 16 contests… Flynn was in double figures in 28 games, including 27 of the last 31 … Flynn was the Nov. 19 Andy Katz Espn.com Player of the Week… He was the conference rookie of the week once (Feb. 11) and found a spot on the league’s weekly honor roll once (Mar. 10) … Flynn opened his collegiate career with 28 points versus Siena, the top freshman debut total on the books at Syracuse… He followed that up with the game-winning three-pointer, his only basket of the game, against Saint Joseph’s.

We have to trade up if we want a talent like Flynn he isn’t going to fall to 20th. He has way to much talent and has proven that he can play ball and can control a team. Look what they did in the Big East tournament and then again in march madness. everyone saw that he performed on a big level. I think he will easily got top 15 top 10.
