Jazz Trivia: Expert Edition #1
Posted by Andy Larsen on October 06, 2009

I’m going to try something new: Every 2 weeks, I’ll put up 5 Utah Jazz trivia questions. You’ll try to answer them in the comments, and I’ll eventually reveal what the correct answers are once everyone has submitted their answers. No researching though! It’s much, much more fun if you just try to guess. If you do feel the need to look the answers up, please don’t comment, so that everyone can have their fair chance at answering. Have fun!
1. Which 3 players of the 1997-98 Jazz won championships after they left the Jazz?
2. In 1999, the Jazz picked Kirilenko in the first round of the NBA draft. What other two players did they pick in that round?
3. The Jazz traded the draft pick that was used to select Magic Johnson in return for which player?
4. Who (in the history of the Jazz) made the all-star team before Karl Malone and John Stockton? (4 players)
5. Which 2 uniform numbers have been the most popular in the history of the Jazz?
Are you up for the challenge? Good Luck!

1- Greg Foster

shandon anderson sounds right
2- scott padgett (dont remember how to spell his name) and quincy lewis. i remember trying to find out who they were because at the time i thought ak didnt look so wow.
3- gail goodrich or however you spell his name, but it wouldnt have been for magic johnson except the jazz finished last which changed it to the #1 pick. ugh vey
4- if your counting before the jazz came to utah then pete maravich, adrian dantley , rickey green i dont know about the 4th one, my uncle says truck robinson? im gonna have to look him up i dont know who hes talking about
5- most popular jersey i think would be 32 and 47. unfortunately malone and ak have gotten the most international hip although 8 and 12 are close behind. ak because of russia and the international stuff and malone doing the japan thing with the jazz. *hears crickets chirping im way out there*

1. Jacque Vaughan is easy. Shandon Anderson, maybe. Greg Foster with the Lakers?
2. Quincy Lewis and Scott Padgett.
3. Gail Goodrich, indirectly (I think.)
4. Pistol Pete; AD; the fastest of them all, Rickey Green; and I will say Truck Robinson, just a guess.
5. No clue…8? 34?
