JAZZ WIN GAME #1 — JAZZ 93 ROCKETS 82
Fantastic effort by the Jazz. The Defense was great.
When they were on the ropes they answered
They won the battle of #2 offense v. #2 defense.
Boozer was great on the boards.
The 1st half work on the boards was huge. The bench […]

A New Hope
Did you catch the Presidential Debate on Wednesday night? It’s a fair question. Chances are if you are reading this site – you are a Jazz fan. Probably a big Jazz fan. Of course the Jazz did play Wednesday night as well. At least they were scheduled too. They did show up. Physically. But they […]
Who Should We Play???
The question was posed to a few of the boys that REALLY follow the Jazz, Who would you like to see the Jazz play in the first round of the playoffs and why? Here are four of their responses:
Mason: I think they should play the Suns. The Suns have a lot of point makers that […]

FINAL SCORE — JAZZ 105 Rockets 96
Memo does it again 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Offensive Rating for tonight was again fantastic - 121 was the rating (league average is 109 and the Jazz average is 115) This is against the #2 defensive team in the NBA

Onward and Upward
Last night’s game against the Dallas Mavericks was reDirk….I mean ridiculous. It was a great close game at the end, but I’m afraid the quote of the day on KJAZZ t.v. was terribly apt. The quote belonged to Jerry Sloan who was talking about his team’s lack of experience in the playoffs, and […]

Utah Jazz Clinch Playoff Berth
‘Here We Come’ (David Dow -NBAE/Getty Images)
Thanks Chris Paul. For as much smack talk as CP3 endures from Jazz fans – he just did the Jazz organization a favor. Of course I don’t expect anyone will be sending out a Thank You Card, after all Paul was just doing his job. […]

Ocean liner sinks - NBA scouts on board
A few things that I noticed while watching the Jazz vs. Houston game:
Fess looked like a kid in a Christmas movie at the beginning of the game with all of the fireworks and such. He appeared to be awestruck, it was cute.
Ronnie Brewer is still awesome.
Andrei Kirilenko has stepped up. I’m impressed, he’s […]

Something to Worry About
Work obligations prevented me from posting much last week, but it did give me a unique opportunity to talk to sports fans from around the country. I was in Las Vegas for five long days (and four short nights) attending my company’s annual customer conference. In between training sessions and evening social events, conversation would […]

This is A Call Out!
‘Called Out’ (NBAE/Getty Images)
This is a call out! To all the residents, fans, and players of the city of Houston, or more specifically, the Houston Rockets… by which you so sadly stand.
In a state where everything is bigger, I guess with Yao as your star, the irony is deeper. He seems like a […]
