Korver Surgery A Success
Korver will be re-examined in two weeks and is expected to start working out in a pool in three weeks.
Nothing has been said yet but I would guess this means Korver is off the “Basketball Without Borders” tour.

Korver To Have Minor Surgery
Kyle Korver is in New York to have a bone spur removed from atop his left foot this evening.
Not a lot is known at this time as to how long he was bothered by the bone spur or, if it had any effect at all on his game this past season. A report on […]

Coach Hornacek
‘John & Coach Jeff’ (Kent Horner - NBAE/Getty Images)
There are plenty of reasons you may have loved him as a player. Excellent shooter, smart player, good teammate, down to earth. Maybe you liked him because he looked like the average guy (the average guy who happens to be 6’4”) or maybe it was the secret […]

New-found media darlingness
I don’t really have much of anything new to write today. I’m just enjoying basking in the praise being afforded the Jazz by the national media as of late. All of us Jazz fans have known for a long time of just how good this team is, despite the month of DECEMBER. It finally feels […]

Kyle “The Crush” Korver
‘Crush’ (Melissa Majchrzak - NBAE/Getty Images)
If Kyle Korver is known for anything, it’s his three point shooting. When he hits a few in the fourth quarter it usually crushes the hopes of the opposing team. But that’s just […]

The Korver Factor
‘A Sixer 3 in OT - Thanks Again Philly’ (Jesse Garrabrant - NBAE/Getty Images)
by Ryan G., 6th grade student
Whenever Korver is doing well, so are the Jazz. When Korver came to Utah, the Jazz went 18-3 in January. The Jazz have shot better from the three-point line by a lot. In February, the […]

Decision Time For The Jazz
‘Kevin at Work’ (Kent Horner - NBAE/Getty Images)
Before we get this party started, let me just say I am in shock at what the Lakers were able to pull off the other day. Honestly, every team in the Western Conference should have the desire to stomp a mud hole in the Grizzlies. Memphis needs […]

We are slightly impressed
‘Ron and Karl - a Resemblance?’ (NBAE/Getty Images)
While watching the last match up between the Sacramento Kings and the Utah Jazz; I noticed just a slight resemblance between Ron Artest, and Karl Malone. I think it’s the cheekbones. When I thought of Karl Malone, I was reminded that I haven’t heard anyone speak in the […]

How To Dribble
‘Deron and the Dribble’ (Melissa Majchrzak -NBAE/Getty Images)
By Kara Mueller (ALMOST 9 years old)
I want to start by saying that Kyle Korver is the hotest person on the planet. I think I would die for him. My sister thinks Deron Williams is hotest but I say “No Way”!
Dribbling is a hard skill to […]

The Ghost of Stockton’s Shorts Past
The bandwagon has just about passed me by, but I’m taking a running jump at the tail-end. I’m still feeling an upset stomach after watching the 76ers game. The people in the ESA who booed Gordon Giricek should be embarrassed, ashamed, nay, disgusted at themselves. The fickle fans in Utah have long been a complaint […]
